Here are a couple of tips and trick you can try out to make your detox experience fun and adventurous! These tips will also help alleviate some of the symptoms you might go through during the Organic Detox.

We cannot emphasize how important it is to drink more than enough water during the Organic Detox to help your body systems flush out all those toxins! Water aids in brain function and body regulation, which can help balance our moods in general, but especially during the cleansing period of our detox. Drinking lots of water instead of your old regulars such as coffee, sodas or sugary fruit juices will quench our thirst better and stave off those unwanted calories. Drinking more water also keeps our skin looking fresh, supple and youthful too!

Staying hydrated helps transport the necessary nutrients to each of your cells, as well as help your kidneys remove wastes like uric acid, urea, and lactic acid. It also helps your cells, organs and muscles recover faster during the detox process, as water transports high levels of oxygen to your whole body.

QUALITY SLEEP

Getting enough sleep, and the right kind of sleep, is just as important as food and water for your body. Inadequate or restless sleep could sabotage the success of your Full Detox program. During your detox, simply listen to your body as to how much rest it truly needs. You may need a few extra hours in bed for your body to process all the toxins being released into your bloodstream. Or you might need a nap once in awhile. They key is to be in tune with your body but not to go overboard, as oversleeping might induce more fatigue.

During sleep, your body releases vital hormones that assist in the growth of healthy cells, healing of tissues, and fighting off infections. EXERCISE

Don’t forget to exercise during your duration of the Organic Detox. Most of us probably don’t get enough exercise in general. Now is the time to start developing good habits!

During your fasting/liquid days, you may engage in some mild forms of exercises, including brisk walking, pilates, yoga and plenty of stretching.

During your solid food days, where you will have more energy, we highly recommend doing High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workouts, at least 3 days a week, more if possible. HIIT is an exercise strategy alternating short periods of intense anaerobic exercise with less-intense recovery periods. This sequence is repeated several times in a row usually for 20–30 minutes.

High intensity interval training is a wonderful way of improving cardiovascular health, respiratory endurance, as well as metabolic function. It improves the way our bodies utilize oxygen, and it can help balance our hormones too. It is an excellent metabolism booster, and a great way to burn off excess body fat. The beauty of it is how it keeps burning body fat even after the exercise is finished! After intense exercise, fat stores within your body are actually broken down and free fatty acids are released into the bloodstream. During the post-workout recovery phase, these free fatty acids become oxidized and your body uses them for energy. HIIT also produces the growth hormone IGF-1, which aids our bodies in building lean muscle mass. This is the perfect activity to combine with the intermittent fasting concept we introduce in our Organic Detox program to give you maximum results with fat loss and toxin removal!
