I have completely changed after just one month!

The happiest things in life to be healthy enough to get together with family

Name: David Ho
Age: 57 years old
Profession: Accountant

I???m an accountant. I???m also a city person who doesn???t care much about health. I???ve never been picky choosing food. I can eat anything, as long as it???s food. Plus, I never exercise.
This life habit lasted for many years, and it was not until about a year ago that I realized that it could not go on.
About a year ago, I went to see a doctor because of a cold. The doctor was shocked to see that I weighed more than 220 pounds. He asked me to take a blood pressure test. After the test, I found out that I had high blood pressure. The upper pressure was 180 and the lower pressure was almost 110, which was really bad. The doctor warned me very seriously: "If you continue living like this, it???s only a matter of time when you will have a stroke!"
In fact, my body had already started to show some signs a long time ago. I would experience headaches every few days. They would get so severe that my wife would often bring some painkillers in her handbag in case of emergencies. I thought they happened simply because I was overly tired.
After my consultation with the doctor, I started taking blood pressure medicine. My headaches disappeared as soon as I started medication. Now when I look back, I know that the headaches were caused by high blood pressure.
Most people might have thought, "I???ll just keep taking my blood pressure medicine o control my headaches and blood pressure levels. It will be fine for the rest of my life." In reality, that isn???t true at all. The blood pressure medication doesn't really work on the long run, because it doesn???t improve your health or the state of your blood vessels at all. The medication simply made my blood thinner, so that my blood pressure levels appeared to be back to normal. But the truth was I hadn???t improved my eating and lifestyle habits.
My blood vessels would have kept on deteriorating, no matter how thin my blood was.
Recently, something reminded me of this harsh reality. I had a high school classmate who was much healthier than me. He exercised every week and even ran marathons. One day, unexpectedly, he was suddenly admitted to the hospital. It turned out that his heart had two blocked arteries. My friends and I were very shocked, and even he himself didn't know why that happened to him, as he appeared to be healthy on the outside.
At that time, I kept on looking for information on the internet, hoping to find a way to stop taking my blood pressure medicine. I came across a dietitian???s suggestions to eat boiled vegetables and boiled chicken breasts, but I just couldn???t bring myself to accept such a diet. Eating such a boring, bland diet would have been torture for me. I just couldn???t stick with it for long. And if something was too difficult for me, I knew that I would have eventually quit. So what was the point in the first place?
I needed to find a lifetsyle and diet that didn???t make me suffer. That???s when I came across Organic Vision.
When I listened to their summer detox competition briefing one day, I felt that their detox program was very reasonable. I could definitely accept this lifestyle, because it allowed me to eat normally, bur make cleaner, healthier choices. Combining that with drinking vegetable juices, and taking organic health supplements didn???t seem impossible to do.
So I decided to give it a go. When I started detoxing, I found that I was able to accept and continue such a lifestyle. At first I tried OV's 14-day detox starter kit. I ended up losing about 13 to 14 pounds. At first, I felt a little tired, so I asked my detox coach, Vanessa, if this was a normal reaction. It turned out that the large amount of probiotics I was taking were helping my body fight against the bad bacteria in my gut. This process was very taxing on my body so it was normal for me to feel a little tired.
After my starter detox was over, I officially started The Full Detox 2-5-2 Program. During the entire process, apart from the hard work of drinking the grapefruit olive drink when cleaning my liver and gall bladder and removing gallstones, there was nothing particularly difficult. Although I was hungry at certain times during the fasting liquid days, I never cheated. I would always have a glass of sugar-free soy milk, tea, and vegetable juice to curb my hunger pangs.
My entire detox experience has given me great encouragement and motivation to continue living a healthy lifestyle. Before detoxing, my weight was 223 pounds. After completing my detox, I was reduced to 185 pounds, so a total of 38 pounds were lost! My body fat was reduced from 35.4% to 26.8%. My biological age was 14 years younger, and my waist circumference was reduced from 43 inches to 34 inches. I had to buy new pants for myself because all my old one did not fit my anymore! It was truly an amazing feeling.
What was even more surprising was that my visceral fat levels had been reduced from 30% to 15%. Although there is still a lot more bodyfat I need to lose, the fat surrounding my essential organs has been halved in just over a month. I was astonished!
After losing nearly 40 pounds of toxins and fat, I feel so much healthier and relaxed. In the past, I would lose my breath just running to catch the bus to work. Now, I can catch the bus swiftly and easily without having to pant and rest for a few seconds.
The best part of doing the detox was that I haven't needed to take my blood pressure medicine for more than a month! I wanted to go cold turkey with all my medications for a month while I was detoxing, and it worked! After stopping the drug for a month, my blood pressure went back to normal. I no longer need to rely on blood pressure medicine to help me maintain normal blood pressure! All of these amazing results has given me the encouragement I needed to continue to maintaining this healthy lifestyle.
